My journey began with a pole hold..
In 2007, I stepped into a pole dancing studio to take my first class..
The studio was a room full of brass poles, but I saw it as my haven and my pathway of metamorphia. I started out as an Early Childhood Educator, mother of two young boys, and became a fearless pole climbing, hair flipping, heel banging soul.
I never returned to Early Childhood Education and instead fully committed myself to this tall metal object, brass being my preferred pole of choice!
Since then I have:
Opened my first studio, PoleFit Nation (2007) and sold it in 2019
Taught over 10,000 people to pole dance
Competed in 6 pole competitions - Michigan Dance & Air Festival (2013), Ontario Pole Fitness Championships (2013, 2015), Canadian Pole Fitness Championships (2015), North American Pole Dance Championships (2016) Toronto Pro Pole Show (2018)
Won three divisions (Masters), placed 3rd (Theatrics & Artistry),received Most Entertaining Award
Performed in Great Canadian Burlesque shows, Toronto Burlesque Festival as a pole performer
Performed in Dita Von Teese’s first Burlesque show in Canada (2016)
